Eindhoven Airport is an airport with some international destinations, just 5 kilometers outside the city. There are flights with Air France CityJet airline to London City; Ryanair serves Alghero, Alicante, Brindisi, Dublin, Faro, Girona, London-Stansted, Madrid, Màlaga, Malta, Marseille, Milan-Orio al Serio, Oslo-Rygge, Pescara, Pisa, Porto, Reus, Rome-Ciampino, Stockholm-Skavsta, Trapani. Wizzair serves Budapest, Sofia, Katowice, Brno, Praha, Wroclaw, Warsaw and Gdansk. Transavia serves Alicante, Antalya, Bodrum, Corfu, Dalaman, Faro, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Rhodes. There is an airport shuttle between the trainstation and airport. Tickets can be bought at the airport bus stand. Alternately, bus no. 401 goes directly from the airport to Eindhoven's main train station in the city center every 10 minutes.
The A2 national highway from Amsterdam to Maastricht passes Eindhoven to the west and south of the city. The A2 connects here with the A58 to Tilburg and Breda and to the A67/E34 from Venlo to Antwerp. In 2004, the A50 was completed connecting Eindhoven to Nijmegen and Zwolle.
